Academic Expert in Graphic Design and Foundations

Seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to fill the role of Assistant Professor in Graphic Design and Foundations Design. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching all levels of Graphic Design courses as well as select foundations or other courses. Key responsibilities include: • Teaching and related activities • Research and creative activities • Service and related activities Competencies required for this position include: • Ability to teach all levels Graphic Design courses as well as select foundations or other courses • Ability to introduce students to and develop their skills in the use of industry standard software • Ability to teach and mentor students in professionalism in the field • Ability to collaborate with faculty on curricula, recruiting, student retention, department events, and other department business Job Requirements: • Master's degree in Graphic Design or related field • 5+ years of teaching experience at higher education level • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps
