Accounts Payable/AP Specialist

Since opening in 1984, Signature Graphics has become one of the largest printers in the Pacific Northwest, and we are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, account coding, data entry, and writing checks. This position maintains accurate records and control reports. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Processes all accounts payable invoices, performs account coding and data entry, and writes checks for all companies Performs account analysis as needed Covers Administrative Assistant duties at the front desk when needed Communicates with all levels of the organization Keeps all information confidential and locked away Files all appropriate documents and accounts payable printouts Reconciles daily freight to ensure prompt payment of invoices BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5 years related experience in a high volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable process using AP software systems Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and good computer skills is required Ability to present information, ask questions and respond to questions from supervisors and coworkers throughout all levels of the organization Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to reconcile invoices, reports, and other forms Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and/or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving managers and employees Must be able to read and write English at a high school education level Strong administrative, organizational and customer service skills Strong attention to detail skills required OTHER DUTIES Other duties as assigned including supporting the Front Desk by answering phones and greeting visitors Day shift, with some overtime needed to support production deadlines and unanticipated events Compensation: Non-exempt (hourly) wage Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), paid time off (PTO), 401(k) plan To be considered for this position, please visit the following web address to complete an application: https://signature- graphics.applicantharbor.com All resumes and applications will be held in the strictest of confidence.
