Position Summary and Qualifications: Saint Joseph's University's Department of Art & Art History has a need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach Graphic Design courses on a semester-by-semester basis. Duties and Responsibilities • Teaching assigned graphic design course(s) • Preparing course materials, assignments, and assessments • Providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to students • Holding regular office hours • Reporting mid-semester and final grades electronically • Using Canvas or another learning management system • Maintaining consistent communication with students Secondary Responsibilities • Participating in occasional meetings with the Department Chair or program faculty • Collaborating with course coordinators to ensure curricular consistency and quality • Supporting departmental goals related to student learning and engagement Minimum Requirements • MFA in Graphic Design or a closely related field OR equivalent professional experience. • Professional experience in graphic design, visual communication, or related creative industries.
