Responsibilities include: -charging/billing customers -general customer communication -preparation of shipping quotes for domestic and international shipping -resolving billing and classification discrepancies -liaising between office and warehouse staff and between office and shop staff -preparation and tracking of press and product samples -handing of product returns -preparation of shipping labels and documents -warehouse assistance will occasionally be required – will require lifting -working in close cooperation with company owner and other office/warehouse/shop staff on varied projects as assigned -basic administrative duties -participation in two trade shows per year including preparation of samples, transportation and set-up Requirements: -relevant experience -articulate, courteous and personable in all forms of communication -thoroughly organized and EXTREMELY attentive to detail -strong ability to solve problems and take responsibility for tasks at hand and see them to completion -ability to multitask and switch between challenging and detailed projects -ability to follow instruction and existing protocols while keeping a constant eye on improving performance and accuracy of systems in place -experience with wholesale/retail environments and terminology -proficient MS Office; QuickBooks and graphic design programs a plus This is NOT a corporate environment – we are a small, hardworking, very creative and customer-focused business.
