Part-Time Small Business Office Assistant A growing fine jewelry design business on Jeweler’s Row seeks an up-beat, organized office assistant to take on a high-level of responsibility. The ideal candidate is reliable, positive, and professional. This position is part-time (15-20 hours per week), with the possibility of becoming full-time. The duties include: • Customer Service: set up showcase, answer phones, greet visitors, respond to inquiries, follow up with potential leads, some local errands • Emailing customers and vendors • Administrative: entering customer data into Quickbooks, manage office supplies, track inventory • Project Management: keep up with customer jobs, communicate with vendors, work with deadlines, taking pictures, manage shipping The skills required for this job include: • Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint (a plus but not required) • Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus (not required) • Graphic Design knowledge a plus (Photoshop or equivalent) • Basic photography skills • Exceptional communication & telephone skills, both written and verbal • Organization • Multi-tasking • Data-entry • Customer Service • Marketing/Promotions/Sales experience preferred • Jewelry experience and/or small business experience not required, but a plus A background check will be required.
