Admissions and Communications Coordinator

The Admissions and Communications Coordinator is an essential member of The Marin School team. A proven track record of working collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a professional team, while maintaining a positive attitude. \\- Track deadlines and upcoming events for Communications calendar, including print and digital marketing campaigns \\- Maintain accurate and complete admissions database utilizing Ravenna, but also managing applicants/inquiries across different platforms, such as social media leads \\- Assist with admissions-related events (virtually, until we can safely host events in person again), including tracking RSVPs, following up with event reminders and confirmations. Support virtual visitors in navigating Zoom, and when we return to in-person visitors, support the Ambassador/Visitor dynamic as they navigate campus \\- Share school news and events via various social media platforms-participate as appropriate in school culture and feel comfortable encouraging students and faculty to produce and share content \\- Assist with preparation of multimedia outreach projects such as video content and interactive social media content using resources like Canva \\- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions Communications and School Events \\- Provide general support for major events and activities, such as tracking RSVPs, generating guest lists, participating in setup and clean-up, and attending events \\- Assist with planning and execution of school-wide events such as Back-to- School Night, Major Donor events and fundraisers, Winter and Spring Arts festivals, graduation and similar events. \\- High degree of organization and related software: GSuite integrations (Classroom, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms) \\- Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite or similar tools \\- Efficient with brand management on multiple social media platforms \\- Knowledge of/interest in production of digital and print marketing materials, graphic design skills a big plus Required Skills \\- Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, database management, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus \\- Adept with technology, motivation to learn industry-specific programs and other software quickly and independently \\- Excellent interpersonal skills \\- Strong proofreading skills \\- Flexibility to attend after-school events and periodic weekend and evening activities \\- Bachelor's degree \\- A valid and clear California driver's license and the ability to drive self and/or students to school visits and fairs away from campus (when it is safe to resume in-person visits to fairs and feeder schools) \\- Strong follow through with projects and tasks \\- Able to self- direct Job Experience \\- At least 2 years of experience working in an educational setting or with high school students a plus.
