Apparel Designer

We are seeking an Apparel Designer to join our team and lead our brand design as we grow and evolve our business. Position Overview: As Apparel Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the launch of Forgeline’s consumer brand. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the Product Team to conceptualize brand vision • Create initial sketches and tech packs for all new products, according to the briefs created by the Brand • Responsible for maintaining sketches throughout the design cycle, as needed by the Product Team • Collaborate with the Product Team to select materials appropriate for each product that falls in line with the sourcing and costing goals of the product • Conduct appropriate market research to ensure all new product designs are on trend while remaining true to the original vision of the Forgeline brand • Participate in regular design reviews and update sketches as needed • Collaborate regularly with product developers, material developers, pattern makers, and brand marketers to assist in the execution of new and redesigned products. o Ability to work on both short term and long term goals simultaneously If you are an experienced apparel designer with a passion for creating original products, and working in a collaborative, small team environment, we invite you to join our team at ForgeLine Solutions Inc.
