Apparel Designer

Contemporary women's clothing brand seeking a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and creative team player for a great opportunity to work full-time out of the Corporate office (Gardena). The Designer will be expected to be able to work independently, but also report to and support the Creative Director throughout the design, development, and production process. The job responsibilities and tasks include (but are not limited to): Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required Knowledge of Excel required CAD Sketching Must have a strong working knowledge of garment construction & fabrications Tech Pack Creation Sample receiving/logging Sample organizing, hanging, steaming, allocation (some lifting or physical activitiy required) Measuring Samples Knowledge of Mailchimp or Shopify and ability to make social media posts, ads, banner layouts a plus Daily emails w/ internal departments and outside vendors as needed Maintaining organizational systems Being able to take feedback, and willing to learn new programs Strong verbal and written communication skills Trend research & design development Ability to multi task and problem solve
