Ward-Young Architecture and Planning, is seeking a talented, qualified, and driven Intern Architect with strong design skills to join our Truckee, California-based studio. Our Truckee office specializes in high-end residential, commercial, and civic projects in the Lake Tahoe region. An Architectural Intern at Ward-Young is typically teamed with a senior architect or project manager to assist on a project from inception through Move-in Day. Enjoy a scenic mountain biking or hiking trail in the spring, relax by Donner Lake in the summer, hit one of many ski slopes in the winter, or go camping in the brisk air in the fall. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: • Support in all phases of architectural design: schematic design and presentation, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and permitting and entitlements.
