Pinnacle Sign Systems is a growing turnkey sign company specializing in architectural signage, retail branding, ADA signage, illuminated signs, monument signs, channel letters, wayfinding systems, and custom sign programs.

Unlike traditional sign companies, we provide the complete project lifecycle—from site surveys and design through engineering, permit procurement, manufacturing, and installation.

We're looking for a creative and technically minded designer who enjoys solving architectural design challenges and wants to see their ideas become real projects throughout California.

This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who enjoys architecture, construction, branding, and environmental graphics.

What You'll Do:

As our Architectural Signage & Environmental Graphic Designer, you'll become an important member of our project team and participate in nearly every stage of the design process.

Your responsibilities include:

Creative Design

Design architectural signage systemsDesign illuminated and non-illuminated signsCreate monument, pylon, wall, blade, and channel letter conceptsDevelop ADA and wayfinding signage systemsProduce presentation-quality renderings and client proposal graphicsDevelop sign packages for commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, office, and mixed-use developmentsClient Presentations

Create professional presentations for clientsProduce realistic architectural renderingsDevelop signage concepts that complement building architecturePresent multiple design options for client reviewProduction & Shop Drawings

Prepare production-ready shop drawingsCreate fabrication drawings and installation detailsProduce permit drawings for city approvalsCoordinate drawings with engineering requirementsPrepare files for manufacturing and CNC productionCollaboration

Work closely with:

Project ManagersEngineersPermit CoordinatorsFabrication TeamInstallation TeamYou'll help ensure every project is attractive, functional, code-compliant, and manufacturable.

Qualifications

Required:

2–5 years of experience in graphic design, architectural signage, environmental graphic design, interior design, architecture, or related fieldsStrong design portfolio demonstrating architectural or environmental projectsExcellent typography, layout, and composition skillsAbility to communicate design ideas professionallyStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
