Art Designer

POSITION SUMMARYThe Art Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and effective sign designs that Develop concepts that align with client branding and marketing goalsPrepare production-ready files for printing, cutting, engraving, or fabricationSelect appropriate typography, colors, layouts, and materialsReview proofs and make revisions based on client feedbackCoordinate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and qualityMaintain design standards and project documentationStay updated on design trends, sign manufacturing techniques, and industry regulations Experience in graphic design or a similar creative roleStrong portfolio demonstrating design skillsUnderstanding color theory, typography, and layout principlesCollaboration with sales representatives, project managers, and productionStrong communication and project management skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 25 pounds (lbs)Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, manual dexterity, and reach overhead Office or design studio environment with occasional visits to production · Ability to perform duties in a setting with exposure to painting fumes, chemicals, and industrial equipment · Manufacturing environment may be dusty, noisy, and non-temperature controlled · Exposure to adhesives, chemicals, and fabrication equipment · Environment containing flammable products · Use of PPE including safety shoes and safety glasses required
