Art Director

At Drake Cooper, we create work that's strategically sharp, culturally relevant, and impossible to ignore. We're looking for an Art Director who brings ideas to life in bold, thoughtful, and visually compelling ways.

This role is for a concept-first thinker and maker, someone who doesn't just make things look good but makes them matter. You'll partner across teams, contribute to big ideas, and help shape work that moves both clients and audiences.

This position reports to one of our Creative Directors and will be located in our Boise, Idaho office.

What You'll Do

Concept, develop, and execute breakthrough creative across digital and traditional channelsTurn insights into fresh, engaging campaigns that resonate in the real worldPresent and sell your ideas to internal teams and clients with confidence and clarityWork closely with strategy, creative, and cross-functional teams to elevate the workContribute to production, from concept through execution, alongside internal and external partnersJump into new business pitches and help bring Drake Cooper's story to life

What You Bring

2-5 years of agency experience in art direction or designA portfolio that proves you're both a strong conceptual thinker and a skilled visual storytellerExperience across modern channels: Print, OOH, Interactive, UI/UX, Email, Mobile, and SocialFluency in Adobe Creative Suite (and whatever tools help you make great work)Experience using AI tools to support creative development and production, with strong judgment in maintaining originality, brand integrity, and high design standardsUnderstanding of production processes across video, audio, and experientialA team player, you work well with others and make the work better because of itA sharp pulse on culture, trends, and what actually connects with audiences
