The gallery moved to Lexington 30 years ago and is hiring a part-time Gallery Assistant. Before each show, the schedule changes slightly for a week or two and you will be asked to help get a new show up, when 3-4 times a week will be needed, Wed-Sat. The job is 50% design/computer work with HTML; 30% art gallery info & docs; 20% artist/customer relations. These elements are: sales, client interaction, marketing, deadline, learning to prioritize, attention to retail space, communication, learning about the big picture as well as attention to detail. Resumes will be reviewed and a telephone interview will be the next step if appropriate, then an in-person interview.
