One of the best art galleries specializing in Realism, founded soon to be 36 years ago on Newbury St in Boston, in Lexington for 29 of the 36 years, is hiring a part-time assistant for the Gallery Assistant position. 4 times a year, you will be asked to help get a new show ready, when 3-4 days a week for 2 weeks will be needed. Looking for someone who is balanced in graphic design, HTML, art appreciation and customer relations. This position is designed to excite and to inform about the many wonderful phases of the art business, elements of which are pertinent to many small businesses. curating shows and curatorial designs of shows, brochure graphic design (marketing), cataloging art as well as carrying, wrapping and shipping of large and small artwork.
