Most of our team members are working remotely, however, this position will be on site for now, with the potential of remote work in the future. As we work with our clients 100% remotely, we are always friendly in all client interactions – via email, phone, text, social media, and Zoom meetings. Your performance will be measured on the results and accuracy. \\- Assisting with Income Tax Preparation activities \\- Assisting with periodic Sales Tax filings \\- Coordinating with CPA on other administrative tasks as needed Qualities and Qualifications that you will be evaluated on: \\- College Degree in Accounting or related field (current students pursing a degree will also be considered) \\- Bookkeeping experience and/or Certification in QBO/Xero \\- Technologically savvy and willing to quickly learn new software tools \\- Familiar with Asana project management software \\- Familiar with QBO/Xero \\- Proficient in Excel and data analysis \\- Familiar with social media marketing and content creation \\- Familiar with graphic design tools (such as Canva) \\- Excellent communication and writing skills \\- Fine attention to detail resulting in a 100% accuracy rate (no missing numbers, no duplicates, no mistakes) \\- Able and willing to work in fast-paced, deadline and results oriented environment where performance is measured against the goals \\- Able to see “the big picture” and to problem solve independently \\- Tax Preparation experience is a plus \\- E-Commerce business familiarity is a plus The hourly pay starts at $20-$25 depending on experience and will be reassessed in 3 months based on the performance.
