Brief Summary of Job Duties In consultation with the Director, Associate, and Assistant Directors develop and implement communications media public information/relations campaigns for Admissions. Through close collaboration with staff in Admissions, Public Affairs, Student Affairs, SIS&T;, and Instructional Resources, as well as with outside vendors, is responsible for the production of Admissions marketing materials. Has a lead role in coordinating communication efforts among campus departments directed at new students and Job Standards. The Communications Manager must have advanced knowledge of marketing strategies, excellent writing, and design skills. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive data Preferred Qualifications Demonstrates enthusiasm and creativity in presenting complex information Experience working in a higher education setting Professional demeanor: ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi- task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
