Assistant Director, Communications

This position assists the Director in managing department resources to integrate communications strategies with Field Operations, recruiting members, political campaigns, and marketing our services. The Communications Department has 14 staff who create the Association’s website, social and digital media, branding, marketing, publications and public relations. Four years’ experience managing strategic communications, writing and editing content for web sites, digital and print publications, and social media. Our members are the backbone of our public schools and community colleges. Our mission is to improve the lives of our members, students and community.
