Position: Assistant Director - Multimedia AI Graphic Design, Public Regulatory Affairs and Global Engagem[...] OverviewAssistant Director, Multimedia AI Graphic Design Public Regulatory Affairs and Global Engagement DepartmentThe Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking the services of a skilled and capable individual to work as Assistant Director, Multimedia AI Graphic Design in our Public Regulatory Affairs and Global Engagement (PRAaGE) Department. Reporting to the Head of PRAaGE and taking direction from the Senior Advisor, the Assistant Director, Multimedia AI Graphic Design will be responsible for leading the development of high-impact visual, motion, and AI-assisted creative solutions across digital channels. This role sets the creative direction and production standards for brand-aligned assets spanning web, social, advocacy campaign and experiences. The Assistant Director scales efficient, responsible AI-enabled workflows, partners with cross-functional leaders to translate business goals into creative strategy.ResponsibilitiesLeading and delivering multimedia creative across static, motion, short-form video, and lightweight interactive formats, ensuring consistently high craft and brand alignmentDefining and ope rationalising AI-assisted creative workflows (e.g., generative image/video, enhancement, variation, upscaling) to accelerate ideation and production while maintaining quality, originality, and complianceSetting creative direction through concepts, storyboards, style frames, and motion studies; establishing review rituals that improve outcomes and speed decision-makingOverseeing video post-production standards (editing, colour, sound, captions) and ensuring exports are optimised for platform requirements, performance goals and accessibilityBuilding scalable design systems, templates, and modular content frameworks to enable rapid, consistent production across campaigns and regionsWorking with the Head of PRAaGE, the Senior Advisor and leadership to shape briefs, define success metrics, and present recommendations with clear creative rationaleManaging team operations, including intake, prioritisation, resourcing, timelines, and stakeholder communication; ensuring predictable delivery across multiple work streamsEstablishing and enforcing accessibility, brand, and channel best practicesOverseeing AI governance for the creative function, including licensing, attribution where required, brand safety, privacy/data handling, and risk reviews in partnership with legal/complianceLeading and developing talent through coaching, mentorship, and actionable feedback; setting clear performance expectations and driving continuous improvement in craft, accessibility, and measurable outcomesPerforming other related work and special projects as assigned by management in accordance with competencies normally associated with the postQualificationsA master’s degree in graphic design and/or visual communication or equivalent qualification(s) from a recognised institution or professional bodyA minimum of ten (10) years of experience, of which at least five (5) years should be at a senior level in multimedia/graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and motion/video work across major digital channelsAdvanced proficiency with industry tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro) and production-ready file practicesFamiliarity with automation and workflow optimisation (e.g., Adobe actions, expressions, lightweight scripting) to scale production and reduce reworkDemonstrated experience applying generative AI in professional creative production, including prompt development, output evaluation and workflow integrationStrong command of typography, composition, colour, brand systems, and storytelling, with the ability to set direction and uphold quality at scaleProven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline: prioritise work, negotiate scope, meet deadlines, and drive clarity amid ambiguityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to leaders and aligning cross-functional teams on creative strategyExperience leading, mentoring, or formally managing designers/creatives, including…
