Assistant Fashion Designer

Assistant Fashion Designer Growing apparel company looking for full time Assistant Designers! AI skills a must! Job Description: * Assist with designs and development for single or multiple product categories * Create flat sketches on computer * Assist with design and development of colors, prints and fabric simulations * Assist with creating original prints, tags, and packaging materials * Assist with all presentation materials needed for market and private label clients * Assist with tech packs * Assist with fit comments * Supports product development team's calendar * Communicates extensively with design, sales, and production teams Qualifications * Experience in fashion and/or technical design helpful but not required * Degree in related major (design/product development) * Ability to translate and design based on trends relevant to target market * Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional partners * Experience using CAD and graphic technology ie Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop * Strong fashion and color sense * Knowledge of print and textile design * Self-starter, can work independently with minimal supervision * Strong collaboration skills
