How many hours per week are required? 10-15 hours Description of Primary Duties GENERAL FUNCTION Gain hands-on experience in public media while building practical skills in graphic design, visual storytelling, community engagement, event planning and marketing. This position supports the creation of visually compelling materials that promotes events, programs and initiatives that connect Ozarks Public Television and KSMU Radio with the community.

The Graphic
Design and Events Assistant works closely with the Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator to support fundraising events, outreach efforts, and audience engagement activities, with a primary focus on designing and producing content across print and digital platforms.

Responsibilities include creating promotional graphics, developing visual content for campaigns and communications, assisting with brand consistency, and supporting the distribution of marketing materials. The role also includes assisting with event logistics, outreach efforts, and the OPT Kids Club.
