Simply Southern began as a small apparel kiosk in a mall in 2005. Today, Simply Southern is sold by over 6,000 independent retailers and has 27 of our own retail stores throughout 12 states. They will need to have excellent organization and time management skills as well as the ability to effectively multi-task. Photography & Videography experienceDegree in a design-related field or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in a design role (in-house designers will not be a good fit for this role)Microsoft Office experience required Word, Excel, Office.Proficiency with design software and technologies, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and CorelFamiliarity with tools like Dropbox, Constant Contact, and other email marketing software.Willingness to work in a variety of types of software from Canva to WordPress to PowerPoint to InDesignComfortable with receiving creative direction and feedback from both the client and team membersSelf-directed problem solver who is comfortable with asking questions when they get stuckEmail MarketingPrint Design (Brochures, Presentations, Billboards, etc. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.Noise level is usually low to mediumOccasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.Job Type: Full-time, in-office Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
