Assistant Internet Merchandiser (Hybrid, Columbus, OH)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Internet Merchandiser to join our eCommerce team. This individual contributor role is responsible for site proofing, product accuracy, execution of internet merchandising windows, and supporting new product launches. The ideal candidate has a strong retail acumen, an eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively while also owning assigned product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate website daily to ensure product accuracy (pricing, descriptions, sizes, colors, images, swatches).
Execute product launches and merchandising windows based on Merchant assortment plans.
Generate internet customer metrics reports and analyze past sales trends to support business decisions.
Manage product set-up, site merchandising, and pricing submissions.
Partner with Internet Merchandisers and Merchants to determine site features, product order, and category presentation.
Review upcoming site, app, and email builds to ensure alignment with merchandising priorities.
Assist in analyzing stock issues and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
2–4 years of progressive experience in internet merchandising or retail preferred (internship or corporate retail experience will be considered for recent graduates).
Strong executional excellence with a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn new workflow tools/systems quickly.
Solid understanding of retail fundamentals and business acumen.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in site execution or eCommerce merchandising.
Strong curiosity, adaptability, and desire to grow in site merchandising.
