Assistant Landscape Designer

Position Overview We are seeking candidates for the position of (part-time consulting) Assistant Landscape Designer to join us in Ventura, CA. We are looking for designers who are driven, passionate about their work, detail orientated, articulate, and responsive to a collaborative design environment. Primary Responsibilities Work directly under the project managers in a supportive role producing: Site Analysis Drawings Conducting Project Research Creating Schematic Design Presentations 2D Graphics 3D Digital Models Construction Documents Knowledgeable in Southern California Native Plants A General Understanding Of The Basic Principles Of Landscape Architecture, including: Site Design Grading and Drainage Plant Material, Construction Materials, and Construction Details Progressive Graphic Skills Aptitude For Digital Media and Software: MAC OSX – we are a MAC based office, CAD, LandFX, MS Office Suite, Lumion, Adobe Design Suite, Hand Sketching and Lettering, Sketchup Qualifications Required A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture. This is a part- time consulting position with an exciting and thriving start- up. Compensation is DOE.
