This Assistant Professor, Foundations, Illustration, Design, will teach foundations courses in drawing and design, as well as select illustration and graphic design courses. Duties include some advising; serving on student thesis committees; serving as faculty sponsor for student organizations; collaborating with faculty to provide leadership in curriculum, department events, recruitment, equipment, and facilities development for undergraduate programs; foundation success team; serving on department, college, and university committees; and other responsibilities as assigned by the department chair. • Teaching and related activities. • Ability to teach Drawing I and II; Illustration I and II, Design I, and Intro to Graphic Design; use of industry standard software, including Adobe Creative Cloud apps; knowledge of Macintosh platforms. Desired Qualifications: • Record of professional and creative accomplishment; ability to teach traditional and digital media; two years of teaching experience in courses listed or related courses.
