Assistant Professor, Graphic Design

The Assistant Professor in Graphic Design and Foundations Design will effectively teach all levels of Graphic Design courses, as well as select foundations design or other courses and duties as assigned by the chair in accordance with the needs of the department and qualifications of the applicant. Essential Job Functions • Teaching and related activities. Minimum Qualifications: • MFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or Studio Art with significant Graphic Design experience. Key Competencies: • Ability to effectively teach all levels of Graphic Design courses as well as select foundations or other courses as assigned by the chair and in accordance with the needs of the department. This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
