The Department of Art, Art History & Design at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for an Assistant Professor, Graphic Design tenure track to begin July 1, 2025. Required Qualifications • A terminal degree (MFA or PhD) in Graphic Design • Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion • 2-3 years of teaching experience at the college level beyond graduate teaching assistantships • 3 or more years of industry experience in the Graphic Design field • Ability to teach Graphic Design courses at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels • Active record of creative activity and client work The University of Nevada, Reno is a public Research 1 land-grant institution of the Nevada System of Higher Education with a student population of approximately 20,000, including over 1,600 graduate students.
