The Department of Art at The University of Texas at El Paso invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Art in graphic design. The position requires focused research and undergraduate studio-based teaching responsibilities in user experience / user interface (UX/UI), and interactive graphic design. This includes a focus on emerging trends in digital media art and disseminating his/her/their creative scholarship and/or research in peer-reviewed venues, as well as fostering collegial and professional connections and collaborations within the department, across the university, and at the local and national levels to benefit his/her/their teaching and research.
