The Department of Art, Art History, and Design at the University of North Florida invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in Graphic Design and Digital Media to begin in August of 2024. The University of North Florida's (UNF) Department of Art, Art History, and Design is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The curriculum emphasizes design process and principles, technical skills and production methods, and research-driven problem-solving that considers social impact as well as commercial potential. Candidates must demonstrate experience in teaching, research, or practice in user experience (UX) design and research, including web design, app design, agile methodologies, and human-centered design methods. NOTE: Recommendation letters and official transcripts are required IF invited to an on-campus interview.
