Assistant Professor of Graphic Design

The Department of Visual Arts at Coastal Carolina University, accredited by NASAD (National Association of Schools of Art and Design), is seeking applications for a full-time position at the level of Assistant Professor in Graphic Design, with a focus on AI and technological integration, to begin August 2026. Candidates should hold an MFA/terminal degree in graphic design/visual communication by the date of hiring, and have undergraduate teaching experience in the area of design beyond the graduate level. The Department of Visual Arts offers the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Art Studio, and Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Art and Visual Communication Design as well as a number of minors.
