Assistant Professor of Graphic Design

The Art and Design Department at Grand View University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Graphic Design, beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will bring a record of teaching excellence and a demonstrated ability to inspire students in and out of the classroom teaching content that includes typography, packaging, information design, UX/UI, and portfolio building. Faculty in the Art department contribute not only through teaching but also through active participation in the department and university service, including participation in faculty meetings, committee work, and student recruitment and retention. Demonstrated success in teaching, lecturing, or mentoring students, either in an academic or professional setting, preferably in higher education in design programs A record of professional accomplishment, as demonstrated through a portfolio detailing teaching and practice and an active exhibition and project record.
