Assistant Professor of Graphic Design

The selected candidate will teach undergraduate level courses in graphic design to students from multiple perspectives (fine art, graphic design, game design), serve as the Creative Director for Third Floor Design, mentor students within the context of an interdisciplinary art and design school, and advise students in a tutorial environment. Service to the department and the non-profit community (through Third Floor Design) is a requirement of the position. The candidate will maintain facilities, keep an active professional practice, and participate in the University and greater Tulsa community. As a member of the TU community, service responsibilities include taking an active role in curriculum development and assessment, aiding in the management of classroom equipment and resources, and making connections with related programs on campus. Some local travel required as Director of Third Floor Design.
