Ikoi no Kai is the Community Lunch Program under the Japanese Ancestral Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Nikkei community. The mission of Ikoi no Kai is to promote the cultural heritage and traditions of the Japanese American community through a Community Lunch Program at the historic Epworth Methodist Church in SE Portland. Time commitment is 3-5 hours/ day - 4 days a week. For details and to apply, please see: www.japaneseancestralsociety.org/job-opening/ GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: This Assistant site manager works closely with and co-manages daily operations at Ikoi no Kai – providing physical and administrative project support for the organization with a focus on communications, facilities maintenance/management, customer service, data entry and book keeping. Schedule: The work schedule is flexible but requires at least 2 days a week of on-site work during normal business operation hours (8 am -2pm).
