Associate Brand Manager Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in business with a concentration in marketing, and/or equivalent of 3 years of industry experience • Expert knowledge about marketing and related subjects (advertising, market research, consumer behavior, marketing analytics) culled from years of hands- on experience in the industry and in the marketing field • 3-5 years of relevant work experience Qualified applicants must be able to demonstrate that they meet or exceed the following requirements: • Self- starter who’s also comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment • Phenomenal at multitasking, adapting to shifting timelines and priorities, and capable of meeting deadlines • Strong time management and interpersonal skills, as well as having a great sense of urgency • Excellent, clear & concise writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form) • Detail- oriented • Proven ability to work cross-functionally • Experience managing a brand across multiple markets • Creative thinker and problem solver • Strong communication skills • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends • Business savvy • Ability to multitask • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong research and analytical skills • Comfort with CRM / ERP / Sales software • In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts • A willingness to listen • Ability to think creatively and innovatively • Budget-management skills and proficiency • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc. Brand Manager Roles & Responsibilities • Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze research to identify opportunities • Stay current on market trends and competitive activity • Establish and maintain brand budgets • Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media • Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative • Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns • Manage and develop P&L; and driving market growth • Maintain a company or individual’s public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives • Make decisions about the cost of branding and analyzing trends in customer spending • Build relationships with influencers, journalists and media outlets • Oversee social media accounts and ensure brand consistency Working Environment / Conditions: • Candidate must be available to work occasional early mornings, weekends, and holidays to support the marketing and sales team.
