The Communications Office is responsible for the development and execution of innovative, informative, and engaging communications initiatives that creatively and effectively support Thacher’s mission and strategic goals, and bolster the School’s connection to its constituent groups, including prospective families, current students and their parents, employees, donors, alumnae, and friends of the School. Department: Communications Position: Associate Director of Communications Reports to: Director of Communications Status: Full-time, staff SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: \\- Support existing marketing communications efforts, and help develop new initiatives in keeping with evolving trends and technology. \\- Manage content calendar for website maintenance/upgrades, website news, and social media. \\- A thorough knowledge and understanding of a range of social media platforms. \\- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
