Associate Education Director

Description: Under the supervision of the Deputy Director, the Associate Education Director assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of the San Mateo County Historical Association’s education programs with the goal of enhancing the understanding and interpretation of its collections and resources and increasing public access to them. Responsibilities:  Manage interactive programs and tours for school groups (primarily 1st- 4th grade) and adult tours at the San Mateo County History Museum.  Work with the Deputy Director on 1-2 larger public programs each year at the History Museum. • Ability to be flexible while working in a busy, active public work environment.
