-Work with design director and be a liaison between all other departments including patternmakers, sewers, production, and merchandisers -Order trims, fabrics, lab dips, strike offs and all other development materials -Have some graphic design knowledge working with prints, placements, and repeats -Communicate with overseas vendors with any proto sample, fabric, trim, and production comments -Create tech packs to send to overseas vendors and maintain all the information as needed -Create filled in CADs for linesheets -Create technical sketches for patternmakers when creating new bodies and working on revisions -Gather fabrics/samples for fittings and do any corrections for production -Partner with designers and patternmakers to ensure that tech pack release dates are timely, and the information is accurate -Communicates with factories on the status due dates of samples from 1st proto through PP
