Please see our website at http://ucbaking.com Job description The Purchasing Manager coordinates and facilitates the purchasing, handling, stocking, and tracking of all goods and services for the bakery, including ingredients/raw materials, packaging, supplies, and facility maintenance. The role requires strenuous physical activity such as lifting heavy materials. Requirements \\- You must be 21 years of age or older and have the right to work in the USA; \\- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record; \\- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds or more; \\- Highly organized and detail-oriented; \\- Ability to research and compare vendors; \\- Ability to work independently; \\- Ability to communicate with other managers about needs; \\- Working experience with Google Apps, MS Office, and/or vendor management software; \\- Experience with purchasing / vendor sourcing; \\- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense; \\- Bonus if you are adept at graphic design/layout applications such as Adobe Photoshop.
