Social Media ManagerLocal company with a national profile is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to strategize, curate, manage, and create posts for its Social Media.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with company Creative Director, Sales Department, Senior Graphic Designer, and Marketing Team to create brand awareness, build audiences, and engage with consumers and retailers through Social Media.Manage Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest) posts (minimum 3 per week), stories (aim for minimum of 8 active at any one time), highlights, marketing campaigns, and day-to-day activities.Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal audiences.Create, curate, and manage all published content—including video.Create and test hashtags to accompany all posts.Search for news and trend articles for posting or for reference.Monitor, listen to, and respond to users through social channels (comments, DMs) while cultivating leads and sales.Design, create, and manage promotions and Social Media ad campaigns.Compile report for management showing results (ROI).Engage in dialogues and answering questions for the company in Social Media spaces, where appropriate.Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews and comments.Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content about the business.Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results and report notable threats to appropriate management.Continued education to maintain knowledge of best practices, emerging social platforms, and new advertising techniques for each through online courses, webinars, etc.Requirements5+ years of Social Media and/or graphic design experience.
