This position will involve developing compelling concepts and campaigns, as well as completing photography and videography projects to enhance our visual storytelling. The Graphic Designer will also contribute to the design of user-friendly web pages that reflect our brand identity and support brand audiences. With a strong emphasis on creativity and technical proficiency, this role is essential for elevating our brand profile and delivering high-quality visual content across various platforms.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Brand Management: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all materials and platforms. Develop and refine brand assets as neededDigital and Print Design: Create engaging designs for both digital platforms (social media, email marketing, web banners, etc.) The Graphic Designer must create designs that resonate with these diverse audiences and the mission of BGCCF.Communicates Effectively: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, explaining design concepts, and ensuring brand consistency across various platforms.Action Oriented: Ability to take on new challenges with high energy and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment where the Graphic Designer must manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Creativity: Ability to develop compelling concepts, campaigns, and visually appealing designs across various media.Tech Savvy: Proficiency in industry-standard design software, basic coding knowledge, and the ability to adapt to new technologies.ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIESRelationships Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.External: Maintains contact with members, families, alumni, community leaders, youth-serving professionals, other Clubs, media contacts, vendors, consultants, organizations, and others to achieve program goals and objectives, manage costs, share information, and resolve problems.OtherENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The position requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments of an office or club setting, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and policy manuals.Required to operate a motor vehicle.Work in environments frequented by children and families, requiring adherence to safety and conduct standards that ensure a child-friendly and family-oriented atmosphere.Must be adaptable to a dynamic work schedule, including some evenings to support club activities and events.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically capable of performing programming activities and club duties on-site, including lifting up to 30 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, bending, and reaching.Operates a computer and other office productivity equipment such as a copy machine, phone, printer, and tablet frequently.
