Description: Blackstone Audio is currently seeking an experienced Designer / Artist to produce high quality graphics for digital and print media. Primary Responsibilities: • Design book covers • Design catalog pages • Design marketing materials, such as web graphics, posters, flyers, and trade show materials. • Maintain brand standards across all visual communication media. Requirements: • Deep understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, color, composition, layout) • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, including usability • Expert proficiency in the latest versions of graphic design software, including, but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign • Lettering artist is a plus • Flexible and able to respond to direction changes with ease • Thrives in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational skills • Solid understanding of print production process is a plus • Solid understanding of web page optimization standards and best practice Detailed portfolio demonstrating solid design sensibility required We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus medical, dental, vision, time off benefits and a retirement plan with matching contributions.
