Our 44-year old book publishing and international print brokering concern has an immediate opening for a designer with at least 5-10 years print design experience preparing books and other print media to go to press. Must have at least five years experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge...) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) plus work samples to be submitted digitally either as e-mail attachments or using We Transfer. Todd Communications produces more than 100 books and other products annually at printers in Anchorage, Lower 48, Hong Kong, Korea, China and Thailand. Starting pay is $20 to $24 an hour based on experience, quality of work, speed and industry knowledge with room for raises based on ability to produce results with minimal supervision. We have an iMac 4K Retina in a large, private, corner office with sizable west facing window for the designer.
