If you are looking for a great opportunity to pursue a rewarding career with a company known for quality and big savings, apply today!Job ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Advertising team, the Graphic Designer will be involved in all processes related to the design function for our promotional materials.Additional responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:Print DesignDevelop key concepts for promotions including graphic elements, color palettes, design fonts and background photography props while aligning to our established Style GuideCreate appealing layouts for weekly tabs, Direct mailers, postcards etc.Work with Photo Studio to integrate and interpret design concepts into photography images.Prepare print-ready files with proper bleed, trim marks, and color specificationsProject/ Time ManagementMeet all project deadlines for time-sensitive retail promotions and seasonal campaignsMay sometimes require time investment past typical work weekManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and requirementsParticipate in creative briefings and provide design recommendationsBrand ComplianceEnsure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines and visual identityMaintain consistency across all customer touchpointsStay current on retail design trends while preserving brand integrityArchive and organize design files for future reference and modificationsDigital Design KnowledgeDesign digital assets creation: MMS, banners, e-mail, social mediaCreate responsive designs for various screen sizes and devicesMaintain consistency between print and digital brand expressionsJob RequirementsSuccessful candidates for the Graphic Designer role should have the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining creativity and technical excellence.Additional requirements of the Graphic Designer include: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related fieldMinimum 2+ years experience in Advertising – preferably with retail brandsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Focused on InDesign)Expertise in designing for print along with knowledge of digital designExcellent time management skills with proven ability to meet strict deadlinesDetail oriented with a strong visual and aesthetic senseOffice setting – open concept studio – must work well with merchant team and Design staffPortfolio demonstrating design workBenefitsAt Boscov's, we value our employees, and that's why we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
