Brand Design Lead

In this role, you are a people and project leader, a creator of strategy, a design thinker, a client advocate and a relationship steward. This role is for a leader who loves to push new ideas, is passionate about design, and gets excited about leading diverse projects and extremely talented creatives. 15+ years of experience in brand strategy, print design, and environmental graphicsBachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related fieldAbility to be client-facing and bring in businessExceptional design sense with the ability to provide clear, critical design reviews to project teamsExcellent communication skills and experience as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teamsAbility to lead complex, multifaceted projects while exhibiting financial stewardship and adhering to demanding project schedulesAbility to work closely with design leadership across Gensler to promote an interdisciplinary design philosophy and to facilitate its advancement both inside and outside of the firmDesire to develop, motivate, and mentor young design professionalsDemonstrated success in building, nurturing, and sustaining client relationships Successful candidates will be located in the Austin, Texas area.
