Project Title: East 10th Street Cultural District Logo

Project Budget: $1,250 total, to create 3 low fidelity logos for public input and 1 final design.

Deadline for Applications: September 20, 2026

Project Information:
The East 10th Street Emerging Cultural District steering committee is seeking an artist to use gathered community feedback to create a logo and light brand for the district. We have conducted research through multiple community input events and surveys and have a few ideas about our identity, themes, and imagery.

This process will include creating three low-fidelity concepts for neighbors to vote on, and then completion of a high-fidelity design of the finalist. The finished product will need to be compatible with a wide range of digital uses as well as usable on print banners for the district.

This is a community-based effort and an artist from the Near Eastside or within Indianapolis is strongly preferred but not required.

The East 10th Street Emerging Cultural District is a partnership effort between Little Flower Neighborhood Association, Grace Tuxedo-Park Neighborhood Association, and Emerson Heights Community Organization. It is being funded by a grant from the City of Indianapolis. Project Timeline:

- Application deadline: September 20.
- Three low fidelity concept logos complete by October 9.
- Public preference survey complete and final design selected by October 23.
- Final high-fidelity logo completed by November 10.
