Chai Pani Restaurant Group seeks a freelance designer for a contracted Design Assistant Position to join our in-house design department. Our ideal candidate is a freelancer who needs a few extra hours a week. Our existing design team will continue to handle the larger creative projects, while this position will generally complete tasks such as updating details on designs that have already been completed, or creating new work based on current designs. Qualifications and skills * Degree in a Graphic Design or a related field OR relevant work experience * Have an understanding of all stages of both print and digital production * An eye for minute details * Solid understanding of the principles of design and visual communication * Extensive experience with the Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop specifically) * Working knowledge of Squarespace or similar platforms is a plus * Must be able to create work on a fast turnaround, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines * An adaptive eye for aesthetics and details Please submit a Resume and Cover Letter that details your experience doing this kind of work.
