The Soldotna Chamber is hiring a Communications and Events Manager to promote, shape, and enhance Soldotna’s image through accurate and compelling communication strategies and creative and efficient event planning and execution. Qualified candidates will be able to provide a portfolio demonstrating their talent for communications and marketing while also showing enthusiasm and capability for organizing Chamber events. • Maintain company website including generating blogs and some webmaster duties (WordPress platform) • Write press releases and other communications to build and maintain a positive image for the Chamber and Soldotna as a community. • Act as the first point of contact for the Chamber office, in person and over the phone.
