Conditions of work: 260 days per year, 4-hours/day or 130 days, 8-hours/day – exempt position GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position is a rare opportunity to join an exciting team. The Communications Specialist has the purpose of supporting NCESD staff and external clients with Communications, Social Media, Publications, and Marketing that promotes the NCESD brand and standards for style and quality. This position is based in Wenatchee, Washington. Builds and maintains positive relationships with school district personnel, the community, news media, and NCESD program managers and staff, for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and consistency of information that maintains agency credibility. Demonstrates ability to adjust to and use new approaches in the performance of his/her duties.
