Communications Assistant

The primary role of the Communications Assistant is to assist the Pastors, church leadership and staff in the execution of the Kirk’s vision through social media. Manage the social media platforms of The Kirk by planning and executing a strategy to provide platform-specific content that is helpful, relevant, shareable and tells the story of The Kirk. Monitor analytics and report to the Communications Director on content marketing metrics to reflect effectiveness of content strategy. Shares responsibility of working with other ministry assistants to cover the front desk during the lunch hour or when the receptionist is out of the office. A knowledge of social media and a passion to cultivate engagement with the people of the Tulsa area and beyond
