Communications Director

Lake Edge is a team-based congregation that focuses on outreach, transformative worship and being a caring community. The individual will work closely with the Pastor and lay leadership to support and enhance communication regarding our ministry together, in the church and in the community. GENERAL POSITION DUTIES • Cultivate consistent and clear communications that embody and promote the vision, mission, values, and goals of Lake Edge Lutheran Church • Collaborate with congregation leaders, members and staff to meet a variety of written, electronic, and social media communication needs. • Promote the church through press releases, outreach communications (electronic and written) and other creative means in our community. RELATIONSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS • The Communications Director will be part of team ministry, working in collaboration and harmony with congregants, Lay leaders, staff, pastor(s), and our Finance Director and Office Manager.
