Communications & Graphic Design Associate

This individual will provide creative communications support while also delivering professional design and branding support to multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a creative eye for design and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, visually compelling products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist with corporate communications and marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.Develop internal and external communications content (presentations, newsletters, digital campaigns, etc. ).Support events, announcements, and outreach with design-ready communications materials.Provide high-quality communications and design support, including:Brochures and fact sheets.Office branding materials.Newsletters and templates for recurring program communications.Reports, presentations, and infographics that communicate technical or programmatic information in a clear, visually appealing manner.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.Demonstrated experience producing professional communications and design products.Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.Location: This is a full-time hybrid position in Washington, DC 20024, USASalary: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.Benefits MELE OffersHybrid remote/office work environment.Employer-paid employee Medical, Dental and Vision Care.Low-Cost Family Health Care offered.Federal Holidays and three (3) weeks’ vacation401(k) with Employer MatchCross-training opportunitiesAbout MELE Associates, Inc.
